Making A Statement

::The Designer::

Los Angeles based clothing line, Andrew Christian, has been designing and producing contemporary collections of urban inspired menswear since its inception in 1997. It's hard not to be drawn to the provocative line of underwear and innovative new swim wear which sport gothic themes and variations of a cross- something that has become the Andrew Christian trademark.

::The Design::

__This year the company released a line of "uber-trendy" printed men's underwear with Show-It Technology™, containing a strap inside each pair that lifts and accentuates an individual's prized possessions. The Gothic, Sport, Fashion, and Basics-themed lines are available in a range of styles from low and super-low-cut briefs, boxer briefs, and jock straps. Each style is intricately designed using nail-head studding and printed graphics, utilizing innovative fabrics such as sports mesh, sheer, and baby thermal.

“But the strap doesn’t have to be used all the time” says Andrew.
”So you can wear the briefs when you visit your parents”

Most likely, the go-go boys that perform in the West Hollywood clubs own at least one pair of these provocative pieces.

::The Details ::

Asking Andrew if he ever envisioned the degree of success that he’s enjoying today when he first started designing his own pieces back in High School, he candidly admits that although he trained to master his skill and pursued his dream of launching his own company, he had no way of truly knowing what the exact result of following his passion would be.

He feels very content and grateful to the public for the great acceptance his line has had, and he is particularly grateful to the young crowd who were drawn to it from the very beginning.

A massive cross-country promotion and launch in select fashion forward locations such as Los Angeles, New York, San Diego, San Francisco and Washington, DC included fashion shows, model signings, underwear contests, club events and meet-and-greets with Andrew Christian and the other designers. Brand awareness was implemented by handing out select wristbands, exclusive underwear, and various "eye candy" neckwear accessories.
