What's Going On

__It seems that there has been a noticeable decrease in business over the past few weeks. Some of the boys have called and asked if it was just them or if it was just slow. Well it's been slow for the majority of us but it should pick up again soon. When determining the amount of business to expect over an amount of time you need to consider several different factors. It's a tricky business we find ourselves in so we have to take some extra precautions sometimes. Save some money just in case you hit a dry spell. Update your ad often with recent photos and descriptions of your services. Try to maintain contact with your regular clients so if things get slow you can try to set something up with one of them.

::Parties:: Keep in mind that our clients are regular people just like us. They like to get out and have a good time with the rest of the crowd. Keep up with whats going on around the area as far as parties and events because they draw in thousands of people that includes some of our precious clients. It's usually only for a weekend and then things get back to normal soon enough.

::Vacation:: There's a good chance that if there is a holiday that business may be a little slow. Although most business men have these days off they may be taking this time to take a vacation or spend time with their family. This is not always the case of course but is a common factor to consider.

::Timing:: Another thing I've learned to keep in mind is the time of the month. Usually the beginning of the month business is prosperous because it's usually when the business men travel to work different cities. The middle of the month may not be as prosperous as it's the time of month we all receive of monthly responsibilities in the mail, that being our bills.

Design Gone Wild

__ The other night I had a client way out by the beach who wanted to hire me for several hours. While I was with him the boys were at a party that some of Travis's friends from college were throwing, I was to join them when I finished things up with this client. Well I do have to say that this client had been some of the easiest money I have made but definitely surprising.

__ We arrived at the address I was given which looked like it was an all business area. I called the gentleman and asked which specific building it was and he told me to go to the glass door of what looked like a business and he'd buzz me in. Turns out that there is a stairway that leads to the second story which is all one big loft like condo, was areally lovely space. As usual we spent a little while chatting and getting a feel for the other. When it was time we went to the room to do "the deed" haha but to my surprise he had a variety of very large toys spread out and some latex gloves. First thought was that this crazy man thought he was getting one of those toys in me (not going to happen some of them are bigger than me lol) but turns out they were for him, and boy they wasn't much resistance when they went in either. When we wrapped things up we both showered and I went about my way.

__ Now the party at Travis's friends place isn't the usual party I would attend. I mean most of the crowd was straight and all of them were in design school of some sort. These are usually the parties that I would avoid in college, you know the parties all the geeks threw because they couldn't get into the good ones type of thing. However since it was Travis's friends and he seemed to be having a blast I went with it. It was the first time in a while that he seemed to be really happy and comfortable at a party so it made me happy. What's this your asking, Kyle thinking about someone other than himself....I know crazy concept huh?

Catching Up...

I know ......... i know ......

__I have left you guys out in the cold for the past couple of days but trust me I will catch you up in no time. I have been out and about for the weekend so I haven't really had the time to sit down and write. Just know that I have had a great time for the first time in a while. To start with I am going to have to catch you up on a few things so ..... first thing's first!

__ Thursday night I had a client later in the evening, I must say he was possibly one of the more high end clients I have seen in some time. Not only was he a good looking and younger gentleman but he treated me like royalty in his huge Art Deco styled home atop the Hollywood Hills. Now I have been to a lot of homes in the hills but this one was really nice, I must admit that I was a little bit impressed. Once we finished our date I showered and said goodbye.

__ I headed home to relax a little, it was already late in the evening so we decided to stay in and chill. Travis was plastered on the computer as usual and Bastian was no where to be find as usual haha! Around the time the bars usually close is when I heard keys rattling so I figured Bastian was home. To my surprise he had brought company with him, Brandon and Angel. I was really happy to see both of them, ever since Brandon and I have separated I have felt like an outcast from the group of friends I had grown to love. It sucks and I am fighting everyday to not let that happen. After a little gossip and chat they headed home for the night and I finally carried my ass to sleep.
