__One thing I have grown fond of during my time here in Los Angeles is the city bus system and what not. Where I come from if you didn't drive you were pretty much screwed, at least here we have the bus and train system to fall back on. I just recently started riding the bus frequently and I must tell you that although it is effective when drunk or otherwise trashed....it can be somewhat scary with all the crazies and loony people that occupy it.
