::Attention:: You may have noticed that I haven't posted about Top Model over the past few weeks as I normally would every week after the show. The reason being that I strongly disagree with the elimination of one of the contestants which happens to be one of the girls I have been cheering for. Whitney's performance had been consistently good throughout the competition but was eliminated before girls who hadn't performed so well.
In almost every season of the show there has been a plus size girl in the competition, although they tell the girl that she has just as much chance winning as the others it's still obvious during the challenges and judging that their weight is an issue. They usually keep the girl around for a while to prove she has a chance before letting her go, this season it was completely obvious that the deciding factor in the elimination was based on weight rather than talent. I was disappointed in both the decision made by Tyra Banks (who has been a bit on the big side her damn self) and the fact the show promotes itself as a fair and equal competition which is now bullshit in my eyes.
Sidney Toledano, president and chief executive of Dior, announced the news, according to the International Herald Tribune. Reports, though unconfirmed, cited cardiac arrest as the cause of death. __Robinson joined Galliano's studio in London as an intern in 1988. He was from Norfolk, England, and dedicated his working life to Galliano during the ups and downs of their careers. Steven Jones, who worked with Robinson last week on Dior's Cruise Collection, told the Herald Tribune that Steven "took John's kernel of an idea and made it reality—he was the huge engine and realizer at Galliano and very important at Dior." (Paris, France) Steven Robinson, who worked hand in hand with Dior's John Galliano, was found dead in his home in Paris on Wednesday. He was 38.

__There is no question that Sarah is definitely a pretty girl but she isn't really model material in my eyes. Models have to have that WOW factor that grabs your attention and Sarah just doesn't have that. In the beginning it was fine because it was expected for the girls to be raw material but as the other girls progressed and developed their skills it seemed that Sarah just hadn't got the hang of it yet.
West Hollywood, CA - From rolls in movies like Wrong Side of the Tracks and Bolt, Johnny Hazzard has proven that he can be a ruff and tumble guy on camera. Well now he's about to show his ruff side for fashion in the newest ad campaign for San Diego based Rufskin Clothing.
Rufskin specializes in designer denim wear for men; including jeans, stretch denim, and jackets. They also feature tops, underwear and leather. For his Rufskin photo shoot, Johnny got the fashion bug and customized his own pair of jeans and shirt. The results of his handiwork can be seen in the new campaign.
"It was such a cool and pleasant experience to work with [Johnny], not only is he hot as hell but he is also super nice and a super pro," said Hubert Owner/Designer Rufskin Denim. "It was a very laid back photo shoot and it was great to also shoot some of his "hazzardized" custom pieces! He is a great guy, and we can't wait to work together again."
The ads featuring Johnny will debut in local publications starting in April. Fashion blogs such as ohlalaparis.com have already started posting the Hazzard photos. Full page ads are expected to appear in Genre magazine, DNA Australia and other major publications.
